Community Connections
Abbett Elementary, a designated School Connect facility, actively supports its three core goals—student attendance, student care and staff care—through its CAFE (Community and Family Engagement) team. By building strong partnerships with local organizations and businesses, Abbett fosters a supportive environment that promotes shared learning and meaningful involvement for students, families and staff.
Pine Hills Church
Pine Hills Church actively supports our students and staff by donating backpacks, Christmas gifts and annual family gift cards. Their members also volunteer their time to help teachers set up classrooms at the start of each school year.
Kingdom First Church
Kingdom First Church shows consistent care for Abbett’s staff through regular meal deliveries, snacks and encouraging notes and cards throughout the school year.
Christ Community Church
Christ Community Church uplifts our school through supportive cards and a dedicated group of volunteers who serve as mentors for several of our students.

Associated Churches has been a long-standing partner, helping to coordinate the Rising Stars program, which connects local churches with elementary schools to foster meaningful community relationships.

L3Harris Technologies is an aerospace and defense technology company. Fort Wayne houses a major center for developing weather sensors and instruments for satellites. L3 Harris employees support our students by providing guest readers and speakers.
